Social Studies Smorgasbord
Thursdays, 10 am - 12 pm

This course is a series of eight varied presentations and discussions. Topics this term include: evolution by accident (variation and selection), repertory theatres of Ontario Canada, dogs of war (drone assassins and other devilish weapons), space exploration, human control of evolution (controlled mutation), why are there so many languages and how far back can we go, and apartheid. The final session will consist of a fun geography quiz, which will serve as a conduit to explore some interesting facts about our world. In addition to the facilitators, presenters include Chuck Korr, Karen Sterbenz and Mike Weilbacher.
