We’re in It to Win it: Understanding the Ukrainian-Russian Conflict

Mondays, 10 am - Noon

Facilitator: Ellen Moceri

The full scale war Russia has instigated against the independent democracy of Ukraine involves not only those two countries but also directly impacts the United States, Europe, and much of the world. Join us to  study the work of Tim Snyder of Yale University, whose course “The Makings of Modern Ukraine,” will be the core of this course. That knowledge will be coupled with the theories of Anne Applebaum, noted Russian scholar and journalist, on the impact of the war on the future of Russia. Finally, we will examine the opinions of Phillips Payson O’Brien of St. Andrew’s University regarding the likely change in the future of American warfare caused by the war.
