Understanding Jazz
Thursdays, 10 am - 12 pm

Through a partnership with Jazz St. Louis, take a deep look at a quintessentially American art form, from the history of jazz to how to better listen to jazz. The class, led by JSL’s Director of Education and Community Engagement, will feature a variety of special guest speakers, including JSL’s President and CEO Victor Goines.
Note: This course includes a field trip to Jazz St. Louis’ coffee concert with multi-Grammy award winning artist Samara Joy on May 11; ticket and shuttle service from OLLI provided. The $40 activity fee is included in the course fee below. We expect to return to OLLI by 1 pm on field trip day.
