Saving Democracy

Thursdays, 1 - 3 pm

Facilitator: Ellen Moceri

Many scholars and pundits express concern for the state of the US’ democracy. This course will be based on David Pepper’s book, Saving Democracy, and will provide an outline of what we might do to protect our democracy for our children and grandchildren.  We will focus on these three issues as threats to our democracy: fascism and the global future of democracy, the growth of white supremacy, and the deleterious impact of income inequality. We have much to do. This class strives to help you develop a blue print for action.
