Get Your Novel Written
Thursdays, 10 am - Noon
Facilitators: Karen Sterbenz, Sarah Wilson
November is National Novel Writing Month (aka NaNoWriMo). Every day during November 2024, you produce 1667 words; by the end, you have a 50,000-word draft. This sort of writing blitz takes planning, and that’s what we’ll do for the five weeks leading up to blast off. We’ll create detailed outlines, develop our plot(s), and flesh out our characters. When November 1st arrives, we write! Note: there’s no rewriting in NaNoWriMo — we just boldly keep going, cheering each other on and assisting with sticking points. If you’re ready to get that novel out of your head and onto the page, join us! For more information on the concept visit NaNoWriMo.org.
