Connecting with Art

In this course, the Mildred Lane Kemper Art Museum and its collection is our classroom. Each week we will focus on a different collection or exhibition, beginning with a guided tour and incorporating activities that encourage participants to make and share personal connections to works of art. Through individual reflection, group discussion, and creative response (including writing and drawing), we will explore the memories, associations, and emotions that we bring to our encounters with works of art.
