Cloak & Dagger, It’s a Mystery to Me

This course will combine mystery, intrigue, detective, and spy novels set in different contexts – from the Victorian Age in London to 21st Century Manhattan. We will read these works, which serve as our textbooks:
• The Face of a Stranger by Anne Perry, a detective mystery set in 1850-60 in London which introduces her William Monk character
• The Parsifal Mosaic by Robert Ludlum, a spy thriller set in the Cold War
• The 6:20 Man, by David Baldacci, a thriller mystery set in contemporary New York
• “J” is for Judgment by Sue Grafton, set in California in the 1980s and introducing female private detective Kinsey Millhone
